Prologue - Part I: It's not a crisis
I’m not having a crisis. I just want to state that up front. I’m not contemplating suicide, buying a Porsche, or running away to Thailand to get a sex change. If anything, I think I’m preventing a crisis. I’m going on a walkabout - by car. A roadtrip walkabout.

Sex change idea is cool too!
First...THANK YOU for NOT choosing the sex change...I'm too old for that kind of shock.
Second...Personally, I think your Roadtrip Walkabout is a great way to spend your 30th birthday. It's one of those things, no matter how far you get, you will never regret having done. No one dies and wishes they spent more time at the office.
But, don't listen to me...I want to be a Gypsy when I grow up. (snort)
